The new 2011 ADR Regulations are now in force!
The transition period for 2011 is now over so you need to make sure you have made the necessary changes.
In summary, there are new Emergency Instructions in writing and new Limited Quantity labels.
If you are involved in AirFreight you
must now ensure that you implement changes for the new IATA regulations
in time
for 1st January 2012.
The latest 53rd edition will be available
soon so make sure you are up to date.
The new ADR 2011 which applies to Road
Transport for 2011 and 2012 has also been published and is now
available from stock.

Annex VI to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 includes lists of harmonised classification and labelling for certain substances or groups of substances which are legally binding within the European Union.If you haven't already done so you will need to produce new Safety Data Sheets and new product labels, its a big job but we can help using the latest Athena Advantage Software

From 1 December 2010 all substances must
be classified and labelled in accordance with with Regulation (EC) No
1272/2008 and Table 3.1 when applicable.
From 1 June 2015 also all mixtures must be classified and
labelled in
accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and Directives 67/548/EEC
(on dangerous substances) and Directive 1999/45/EC (on dangerous
preparations or mixtures) have no longer any legal status.
ADR 2011 Compliance
The new ADR2011 Transport Emergency Instructions are now required to be carried. However there is no need to panic, the English language version is available now
