Sea Freight

The SITPRO Dangerous Goods Note, has recently been revised so the latest version will now be Copyright SITPRO 2009. Please note that the changes are minor and you may continue to use up your old stocks until further notice. Please click on the picture for a sample of the new form.

This is a 4 Part document, essential for sea freight movements but increasingly requested for movements in the UK particularly where ferry crossings are involved.

If you are not familiar with the Dangerous Goods Note, we can supply you with Completion Guide Notes on request, or you can download the document by clicking here..

We stock the DGN in the following formats:

  • Tipped for typewriter or hand completion. These are thin carbonated sets glued together at the top
  • Loose for completion by laser or Inkjet printers. These are printed on heavyweight Carbon paper and are guaranteed not to jam when subjected to the heat of laser printers
  • Continuous Stationery. These are 4 Part sets with sprocket holes for use in continuous stationery printers
  • Air Freight

The IATA Shippers declaration or Dangerous Goods is a mandatory document for air freight.

It must be completed and signed by a suitably qualified person within the company and is not to be undertaken lightly

We can provide the IATA document in three formats:

  • Lined - The main body of the form has vertical columns to assist with data completion
  • Open - The main body below the headings is free of columns giving greater flexibility in completion. Typically these are used by companies filling the form in with software products.
  • Blank - These forms just have the red hatching down either side and are intended for companies who use software packages, such as SPEX or Athena Advantage, which print the black linework at the same time as the content.
  • Tremcard Blanks

These are quite simply the Red Banded cards for use by companies producing their Tremcards with the CEFIC Tremcard software.

By printing your Tremcards on this feedstock, they become official CEFIC Tremcards and are much easier for Emergency Responders, and police enforcement agencies to find in the event of an accident or routine spot check.
